Transporting Fresh Produce from Farm to Market

The Alsum fleet of trucks offers our customers timely delivery of fresh produce to locations across the country.

We operate 14 semi-trucks for long-distance transporting, 12 trucks for local deliveries, and 60 refrigerated and conveyor-bottom trailers. Our fleet delivers field fresh produce from farm to market within 48 hours to virtually all major cities in the Eastern United States.

The fleet is also used to haul potatoes, onions, and other fresh
produce from our growers and our farms to our state-of-the-art packing facility in Friesland, Wisconsin.

To make sure that Alsum potatoes and onions arrive field fresh at your store, we put together a large refrigerated trailer fleet. In addition, we use the services of independent carriers to supplement our fleet. Hundreds of loads leave here every week, bound for all over the Southern and Eastern United States.
